After spending numerous hours preparing for
a four-part examination, Susan Shiomi of Finance
has earned the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
designation from The Institute of Internal Auditors
(IIA).
According to the IIA’s Web site, the
500-question exam “tests a candidate’s
knowledge of current internal auditing practices
and understanding of internal audit issues,
risks and remedies.”
This title is awarded to internal audit professionals
who successfully complete the IIA’s Certified
Internal Auditor program and pass its rigorous
exam. It is the only globally accepted certification
for internal auditors.

a wonderful accomplishment!
