Years as EOC Commissioner: I have served as an EOC Commissioner for approximately 10 years
Profession: I am a retired Fresno Police officer but currently work in real estate as a realtor.
Best advice ever received: “People look up to you. Be a role model!”
Favorite advice I give: “If you’re going to do it, do it right the first time.”
Favorite restaurant, dish, or pig-out food: It really depends. I enjoy dining at Plaza Ventana; you can’t go wrong with any of the selections.
Proudest moment: My proudest moment was helping save the life of a child who was involved in a car accident on Highway 99. The child’s arm was pinned under the vehicle.
Greatest personal accomplishment: I am the first, and only, Hispanic president for Fresno Association of Realtors.
Best vacation I’ve taken: The best vacation I’ve taken was last year’s trip to China.
Favorite weekend activity: I enjoy going to the movies.
Last good movie I saw: Sex and the City
Scariest experience: The scariest thing I’ve experienced was being shot at by suspects in a stolen car chase.
If I had a million dollars I would … pay some bills and give to my church.
Favorite place to shop: Nordstrom in Valley Fair (San Jose)
Favorite childhood memory: I remember coming home after a day of working in the fields with my father
