Interesting experience/adventure: “Last summer my husband and I took a 6000 mile road trip for 3 weeks. We broke one of our rental cars and had to get another one at Mt. Rushmore.”

Favorite restaurant, dish or pig-out food: “Teriyaki chicken and shrimp tempura.”

Proudest moment: “To see both of my children graduate college.”

Greatest personal accomplishment: “Finishing school and seeing both of my kids graduate from college.”

Best vacation I’ve taken: “As a family, we went to Disney World.”

Favorite weekend activity: “I like arts and crafts. I knit and crochet.”

Last good movie I saw: “Sideways”

Scariest experience: “When I had to make a medical decision when my mother was critically ill in the hospital.”

If I had a million dollars I would… “I’d probably remodel my house and have room for my family to gather and I’ll share it with the rest of my kids.”

Favorite place to shop: “I spend the most money at Target.”

Favorite childhood memory: “Eating oranges while we pruned the grapevines. My mother would carry them around in her apron.”

I admire… “My mother. She was originally from Hawaii and she was the only one who came to the Mainland.”

3 words that describe me best: “Calm, dependable and friendly.”

I like to watch: “The gardening show or the food channel.”

Favorite music or artist: “I like the Oldies and I like Elvis.”

In my spare time… “I like my arts and crafts and sleep. I like to travel, too.”
