First Job: “I worked in a packing house in Sanger.”

Birthplace: Sanger, CA

Years at FCEOC: 13 years 6 months.

Best advice ever received: “Buy a home.”

Favorite advice I give: “To get an education—whether it be going to college or to a trade school, so that you will learn and develop skills that will help you to do well throughout your life.”

Interesting experience: “We went to an aquarium with our kids in Monterey and we played with the starfish.”

Greatest personal accomplishment: “Buying my home.”

Best vacation I’ve taken: “Going to San Diego and visiting my cousin.”

Favorite weekend activity: “Taking a drive out to the country.”

Last good movie I saw: “The Last Samurai.”

Scariest experience: “Losing my child in Wal-Mart!”

If I had a million dollars I would… “I would buy me a cabin at Bass Lake and a cottage in Monterey; pay off all my bills and go back to school.”

Favorite place to shop: “Target.”

Favorite childhood memory: “Going to the lake and BBQ. Spending time with my family.”

I admire… “My grandmother. She had 15 kids and she raised me. She was so patient.”

I like to watch: “I like to watch ‘Friends’ and ‘The Nanny.”

Favorite music or artist: “I like the Eagles.”

In my spare time… “I spend a lot time with my daughters.”

If I’ve learned one thing in life it is… “Sometimes you’ve got to just focus on the things that are most important like families, friends and children. Or else the kids will just grow up and you’ll miss everything.”
