First Job: McDonald’s (Making pizzas. Can u believe that?)

Birthplace: Fresno, Ca

Years at FCEOC: 6

Best advice ever received: You will never get anywhere moving backwards or standing still. Keep moving forward, take some chances, and strive for what you need and want to achieve in life.

Favorite advice I give: (This is something I tell my basketball players). Always keep this in perspective. Keep God first, family second, school third, and lastly yourself. Everything else in life will fall into place.

Favorite restaurant, dish, or pig-out food: Grilled or fried Basa Basa fish with lemon and hot sauce. You better get some!!!!

Proudest moment: When my first son was born……

Greatest personal accomplishment: Becoming Information Technology Director at Table Mountain Casino & Bingo

Best vacation I’ve taken/dream vacation: Vacationed in the Bahamas and Jamaica for my 21st birthday. Ohhh weee that was fun!

Favorite weekend activity: Getting out of this heat and escaping to the beach or anywhere cooler than Fresno.

Last good movie I saw: Transformers

Scariest experience: When I was in the 8th grade, the class went on a weekend field trip to the Sierra Mountains. We were studying caves and gold mines, so our tour guide took the class up to a gold mine. We were already 3000 ft above sea level and had to go another 500 ft to reach the gold mine. The road leading to the gold mine was wide enough for a compact car with the mountain on one side and the cliff on the other. The class arrived in a 14-passenger van, so imagine that. Anyway, once we reached the mine, the driver at the time had to turn the van around to leave the gold mine. The only way to accomplish this was to backup and turn around and he did just that. As the driver started to backup, I noticed there was a 25ft wooden pole that acted as a buffer between the van and the cliff (Plenty of space and opportunity to fall 3000 ft). If the wooden pole were to become dislodged, the entire van would have gone over the cliff. There goes the 8th grade class. So the entire class had nightmares about falling over cliffs for a week.

If I had a million dollars I would… Buy my mother another house and start a basketball academy in Fresno providing academic preparation (SAT testing and career counseling) along with basketball skill development.

Favorite place to shop: Eastbay, Footlocker, and Macy’s

Favorite childhood memory: Spending time with my Grandmother

Words that describe me best: Cool, relaxed, patient, handsome

I like to watch: All levels of basketball

In my spare time… since I am always on the “go,” I rest in my spare time.

If I’ve learned one thing in life, it is… to live life to the fullest like everyday is your last day on Earth because your life can be taken away in the blink of an eye.
