Internal Audit Manager
First Job: Picking grapes on my Aunt’s
farm.
Birthplace: Bakersfield, CA
Years at FCEOC: 5 years
Best advice ever received: “You can’t
…”
Favorite advice I give: Set your goals,
plan how to reach them, and take it one step at a time because
for every miniscule step you take forward you’re that
much closer to your goal.
Favorite restaurant, dish, or pig-out food:
Tahoe Joe’s, pig-out food -popcorn.
Proudest moment: Anything to do with my
2 daughters. I’m so proud of them and what they’ve
accomplished!
Greatest personal accomplishment: Most current
– my CIA certification. Other accomplishments include
graduating from college, winning a world championship gold
medal in karate, attaining a 3rd degree black belt.
Best vacation I’ve taken/dream vacation:
I went to Greece and Italy in June. It was wonderful! I’ve
also been to Japan. Next on my list are England, France, and
Spain.
Favorite weekend activity: Ideally –
traveling…
Last good movie I saw: Harry Potter and
the Order of the Phoenix
Scariest experience: Nearly drowning riding
the rapids of the Upper Kings River, competing in karate tournaments,
taking tests, and speaking in front of people.
If I had a million dollars I would…
help my family and travel.
Favorite place to shop: Don’t like
to shop
Favorite childhood memory: Riding my bike
with friends to Millerton Lake and having a picnic. Building
tents in our backyard or camping.
Words that describe me best: I would describe
myself as being a marshmallow (to my daughters), adventurous,
and goal-oriented.
I like to watch: Tour de France, WNBA, Travel
Channel and Food Network.
In my spare time… Attend Fresno State
Women’s Basketball games (My daughter is the Team Manager),
read, or ride my bike.
If I’ve learned one thing in life, it is…
Quit griping, don’t dwell on “should’ve…”,
“would’ve…”, or “could’ve…”
If you don’t like something, make changes one step at
a time
