Building Maintenance Instructor
First Job: Proofreader for an advertising
company
Birthplace: Bellflower, California
Years at FCEOC: 2
Best advice ever received: Never underestimate the importance
of keeping a balance in life. It can’t all be work and
it can’t all be play. Don’t get too high or too
low but seek the middle ground. Find a balance in all things
and nothing the world throws at you can knock you off your
pins.
Favorite advice I give: Believe in yourself, and all things
are possible.
Favorite restaurant, dish, or pig-out food: Camarones al
mojo de ajo with garlic soup at ‘The Smoke’ in
Jamestown, CA.
Proudest moment: The birth of my first son, Jason.
Greatest personal accomplishment: Saved a friend from drowning
in the McKinley canal.
Best vacation I’ve taken/dream vacation: Las Vegas
(for the unique building architecture, wink wink nudge nudge).
Favorite weekend activity: Attending Fresno State Bulldog
football games.
Last good movie I saw: Into The Wild.
Scariest experience: Almost seeing my friend drown.
If I had a million dollars I would… Pay off all my
bills, pay off my house, give some to my kids and invest the
remainder.
Favorite place to shop: Whole Foods.
Favorite childhood memory: Playing football with my all friends
at Triangle Park in Long Beach.
Words that describe me best: Father, husband, brother, son.
I like to watch: College football.
In my spare time… I design websites.
If I’ve learned one thing in life, it is… The
measure of a man cannot be judged by the size of his house
or how much weight he can lift; rather it is the sacrifices
he makes for the good of others, willingly and with grace,
that
