Local Conservation Corps YouthBuild Fresno Program
Case Manager
|
First Job: As coincidence would have it, my first job was
through EOC’s Summer Youth program in which I was placed
at the Hall of Records and served as a file clerk.
Birthplace: Fresno, California
Years at FCEOC: Two years (on January 9, 2008).
Best advice ever received: Still waiting to receive it.
Favorite advice I give: PLAY TO WIN!!!
Favorite restaurant, dish, or pig-out food: Toledo’s
(and it’s not about the food).
Proudest moment: Watching my eldest daughter be recognized
for her academic success and watching her graduate from high
school.
Greatest personal accomplishment: Raising two healthy children
who know who they are, where they come from, and where they
are going
Best vacation I’ve taken/dream vacation: To spend a
month in Italy taking in the magnificent landscapes, visiting
the historical landmarks and partaking in some authentic Italian
cuisine…and let us not forget the Vino.
Favorite weekend activity: Spending time with friends and
family.
Last good movie I saw: Georgia Rule.
Scariest experience: When my mom was in the hospital last
year.
If I had a million dollars I would… Not do anything
grandiose. I would use the money to allow my kids to attend
college full-time without working, buy a house and go on my
dream vacation.
Favorite place to shop: New York & Co.
Favorite childhood memory: I can’t choose only one.
Words that describe me best: Depends whose doing the “describing”.
I like to watch: Court TV and Crime Documentaries.
In my spare time… What spare time?
If I’ve learned one thing in life, it is… Don’t
settle…period.
