First Job: snow cone maker at Fresno Cherry Auction

Birthplace: Fresno

Years at EOC: 2 ½ years

Best advice ever received: “Exercise the faith of the Lord: Yahweh.”

Favorite advice I give: “Believe and forgive.”

Favorite restaurant, dish, or pig-out food: homemade ground beef tacos with cheese, onions, cilantro, tomatoes, and ketchup

Proudest moment: birthdays of my children, Brian and Laura

Greatest personal accomplishment: successful completion of a 3 unit basketball course at CSUF in 1999 with an A in the class at the age of 44

Best vacation I’ve taken/dream vacation: to the beach … always the beach

Favorite weekend activity: BBQ with friends, singing around a backyard campfire.

Last good movie I saw: Louisiana Sky (Hallmark channel)

Scariest experience: when my mom’s Chevy II Nova rolled backward FAST from the top of Lombard Street in San Francisco after the Giants vs. Dodgers baseball game; I was 12 years old.

If I had a million dollars I would … share with the hungry and homeless; rebuild and restore the little town of Biola, there’s not better place to be on Christmas Eve.

Favorite place to shop: Walgreen’s

Favorite childhood memory: singing on stage at Sun Empire Elementary school at age 5 (in Kindergarten) when the music teacher played the piano for me

Words that describe me best: mysterious and peaceful

I like to watch: all of God’s creations, but most of all sunsets

In my spare time … I enjoy different types of international foods, sing, dance, visit people, and enjoy listening to good Biblical preaching.

If I’ve learned one thing in life, it is…
surrender everything to God and His plan, trust and don’t be afraid.
