Birthplace: Fresno, CA
Years at EOC: 7 months, plus 1 year from 2005-2006
Best advice ever received: “Don’t marry the wrong person.” Those were my dad’s last words to me before he passed away. His words helped me to break off an engagement to a man that I was not meant to marry, which ultimately saved us both from marrying the wrong person. Now I’m married to the man I was created to be with.
Favorite advice I give: “Speak the truth in love and kindness.”
Favorite restaurant, dish, or pig-out food: Japanese food, plus currently during my pregnancy I ALWAYS want miso soup and cucumber rolls.
Greatest personal accomplishment: By the grace of God and my supportive, loving family I was able attain my 4 year degree as a single mother.
Best vacation I’ve taken/dream vacation: Dream vacation- 1 month (at least) in Europe, exploring the history, architecture, and life with my husband, daughter and soon to be “Schulz #4”.
Favorite weekend activity: Spending time with my husband and daughter, whether it be working on a project or watching a movie.
Last good movie I saw: Bolt- very cute, funny movie. Not the best movie I’ve ever seen but last good movie.
Scariest experience: Getting lost when I was 16 yrs. old driving home from Visalia. I was driving for 4 hours without a clue as to where I was.
If I had a million dollars I would… donate a percentage, pay off my house, invest in real estate, and put money in savings for future and my children’s future. I would go on a mini shopping spree too!
Favorite place to shop: Target, Marshall’s
Favorite childhood memory: Camping
Words that describe me best: Thorough, caring, faithful, at times ditzy, serious
I like to watch: I don’t watch much T.V., but if I do I love old, classic movies…with Carey Grant, James Stewart, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, etc.
In my spare time… Spend time with family, making things with my hands…I enjoy creating handmade cards.
If I’ve learned one thing in life, it is… to trust God and be obedient to His leading in everything. He always has my best interest in mind, even if it turns out to be something I hadn’t expected or realized I was meant to do or be.
