First Job: hoeing cotton when I was eleven years old
Birthplace: Michoacan, Mexico
Years at EOC: 9 years
Best advice ever received: My father told my sister and me to go to school so that we would be able to support ourselves and not depend on anyone.
Favorite advice I give: “Take advantage of any opportunity you get to better yourself professionally and personally.”
Favorite restaurant, dish, or pig-out food: all the food my mom cooks
Proudest moment: when I graduated from Fresno State University
Greatest personal accomplishment: graduating from Fresno State with my bachelor’s degree with a minor in pre-medicine
Best vacation I’ve taken/dream vacation: My dream vacation is to travel throughout Mexico visiting the pyramids and beaches.
Favorite weekend activity: spending time with my parents and nephews
Last good movie I saw: “Voces Inocentes” a true story
Scariest experience: when my father got stabbed in the heart
If I had a million dollars I would … I would take my dream vacation with all my close family.
Favorite place to shop: Target
Favorite childhood memory: when my parents would take us to pick grapes and my younger sisters and I would be playing in the dirt
Words that describe me best: hard working and easy to get along with.
I like to watch: “Dancing with the Stars”
In my spare time … I do not have a lot of spare time but when I do I like to relax.
If I’ve learned one thing in life, it is… you can accomplish anything you want.
