Best advice ever received: “What matters most is who’s in your life at the end of the day.”
Favorite advice I give: “One day at a time.”
Favorite restaurant, dish, or pig-out food: Sugar cereal - Fruity Pebbles is at the top of the list
Proudest moment: playing music at my Dad’s 65th birthday party and watching his smile
Greatest personal accomplishment: Bringing EBT food stamps to the Selma Flea Market and Cherry Auction – first of their kind in the country to take on EBT!
Best vacation I’ve taken/dream vacation: Galapagos Islands – traveling from island to island on a tour boat for 3 days – swimming with the Tortugas.
Favorite weekend activity: having a picnic with my kids on the front lawn – waving to the passers by
Last good movie I saw: Tyler Perry’s “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” – inspired me to be a better person.
Scariest experience: Getting held up on the trail in the Andes of Peru by 10 drunk men - was saved by the ‘mayor’ of the region who just happened to be passing by with his wife. They took us in for the night – it was New Years Eve 1996. Had a bit too much Mezcal that night…
If I had a million dollars I would … fix my shower – so tired of taking baths!
Favorite place to shop: ‘ The Garage Sale’ in the Tower District – I love supporting local businesses
Favorite childhood memory: vacationing at a beach resort in the Philippines called ’Coco Loco’ - a little island off of another little island in the middle of the Pacific!
Words that describe me best: passionate, loyal, creative
I like to watch: My son Jeronimo in his school plays
In my spare time … I build Web sites or write music
If I’ve learned one thing in life, it is … Integrity is the core value in life – do what you say, say what you mean.
