First Job: working the fields
Birthplace: Fresno, CA
Years at EOC: 2 years
Best advice ever received: “Education is growth; it’s not preparation for life, but life itself!”
Favorite advice I give: “Whatever you do in life, always give it your best!”
Favorite restaurant, dish, or pig-out food: Mama’s homemade enchiladas
Proudest moment: becoming a mom!
Greatest personal accomplishment: graduating from Stanford’s Physician Assistant Program
Best vacation I’ve taken: camping at Pismo Beach
Last good movie I saw : Life as We Know It
Scariest experience: witnessing my father being worked on after his heart attack
If I had a million dollars I would … set up solid education funds for my 3 daughters, establish local scholarships for students, go back to school, set up a foundation for the elderly.
Favorite place to shop: outlets
Favorite childhood memory: hearing my father sing canciones rancheras while working the fields
Words that describe me best: hard working, reliable, dependable, trust worthy and ethical
I like to watch: Little House on the Prairie
In my spare time … I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, gardening and taking walks.
If I've learned anything in life it is ... never take anything for granted, what is here today may be gone tomorrow.
