HEAD START MEMORIAL FUND |
A memorial fund has been set up for the family of Audrey Gonzales, sister of a current Head Start student. Audrey was tragically killed in an accident on Tuesday evening. If you wish to contribute to the memorial fund, you may do so through payroll deduction. The form must be returned to the Human Resources Office, care of Mike Garcia, no later than 10:00 a.m., Friday December 1st.
Attached you will find the form to print. You can either return the form to the Human Resources Office, fax the form to 263-1072, or email it to mike.garcia@fresnoeoc.org. We will then forward your name and contribution to the family on your behalf. You can also contribute directly to any branch of Washington Mutual to Account Number 3133839023 c/o Gonzales Family Memorial Fund.
We continue to keep the Gonzales family and all those involved in the accident in our thoughts and prayers. |

CELEBRATE NATIONAL BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH |
National Breast Cancer Awareness Month educates women about the importance of early detection. More and more women are getting mammograms to detect breast cancer in its earliest stages. As a result, breast cancer deaths are on the decline. Encourage the women in your life to get mammograms on a regular basis. For more information, call your primary care physician or gynecologist. |

Get a flu shot this year to reduce your risk of becoming seriously ill! |
|
Employees with health insurance should call their primary care physician today to make an appointment to receive the 2006 flu vaccination. Only a $10 co-pay is required for the appointment. Call today!
Employees not currently enrolled in EOC’s health insurance can take advantage of the many flu shot clinics being held in Fresno County.
Click on this link for Fresno County Department of Community Health Immunization Clinics. There are certain eligibility criteria for the $8 flu vaccination at these clinics.
Local retailers holding flu shot clinics include Longs, Walgreens, Save-Mart, and Rite-Aid. Most providers are charging only $25 for this year’s flu vaccination. Don’t delay as clinics usually only offer immunizations while supplies last! Click on the link to each retailer’s website to get the most current schedule of clinics: |
