to all of you, our summertime Employee Appreciation
Day was a huge success.
Dozens of you came out early only to stand
in a line that, by 3 p.m. sharp, extended itself
as far as the Foster Grandparent office in the
1900 building.
A white van, playing music and filled with
“Warning Children Crossing” signs,
slowly made its way up the breezeway to anxiously
awaiting ice cream fanatics.
One by one, each employee, like an eager and
excited child, made their way to the truck,
placed their order, and walked away with a smile
and delicious indulgence in hand.
