| Our management staff got a lesson in workplace ethics during our quarterly Leadership Forum held July 16, 2008. Ida Jones, J.D., professor of Business Law at Fresno State’s Craig School of Business, defined ethics and ethical behavior, distinguished ethics from law, and lead group discussions on developing strategies to cases that applied ethics in the workplace.
For over 20 years, Ms. Jones has taught business law and ethics at CSU, Fresno. She has presented seminars to a variety of local businesses on the legal aspects of starting a business, employment law, employee selection and workplace ethics. Ms. Jones earned her Juris Doctor from New York University and serves as a board member of the Central Valley Regional Center.
Attendees enjoyed learning “to think constructively about the topic in our everyday actions” and said “all of the information was interesting and useful for my work”.
