They didn’t look into a crystal ball for answers, but two-dozen Agency leaders did openly discuss ways of improving and growing our Agency during a strategic planning meeting held Thursday, July 24, in the HR Training Room.
Executive Director Roger Palomino updated those in attendance on the Agency’s current efforts including LCC’s Neighborhood Youth Center, WIC’s First Street satellite office, a potential Health Services Clinic expansion, and water shortage relief efforts lead by EOC, to name a few.
The day also included presentations from Fresno State professor Dr. Antonio Avalos on the projected growth and changes that may occur in Fresno County by the year 2020 and a report from Dr. Cheryl Chancellor-Freeland on findings from a First Five-funded mental health research project. |
