Would you know what to do if an emergency strikes?

Clovis ’ Community Emergency Response Team, or CERT, is offering an intense one-month emergency preparedness course starting Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Learn how help yourself, your family, and neighbors in the event of a catastrophic disaster.

Classes are from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and will be held at Clovis Fire / Police Headquarters located at 1233 Fifth Street in Clovis (with the exception of the Simulation).

2.  Fire Suppression: September 24

3.  Light Search/Rescue: September 29

4.  Medical Ops: October 1

5.  Medical Ops. II: October 6

6.  Disaster Psychology/ to Incident Command System,    Pt.2: October 8

7.  Terrorism: October 14

8.  Disaster Simulation: October 18 (5pm – 8pm)
