Lloyd Throne, Director of California Department of Community Services and Development (CSD) spent Wednesday, September 24, familiarizing himself with our Agency. He toured our programs, met with staff and attended a Board meeting.

Mr. Throne was appointed as the Director of CSD by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2006. He has over 38 years experience in the administration of both public and non-profit human service programs. “I’m not saying this because I’m sitting before you right now, but Fresno County EOC has always been a premier agency,” said Throne during the Board meeting. “Everyone is so enthusiastic…you can tell they love their work.” He adds, “The caliber of staff on all levels is extraordinary.”

Our Agency was Mr. Throne’s first stop as he begins visiting Agencies throughout the state.
