Last Friday night’s game against the number one ranked Spartans (5-1) started slowly for the Diversities II (2-4), scoring only one run in the first two innings, falling behind 7-1.

Determined, the DII’s scored eight runs in two innings, bringing the score to 10-9 as they headed into the last inning. That’s when the Spartans pulled away, scoring eight runs. The DII’s had its last chance in the bottom of the half of the inning, but the Spartans held them scoreless for the final score of 18-9.

Next game will be played Friday, November 7, at 9:30 p.m. at the Regional Sports Complex – Field 1. The Regional Sports Complex is located on Jensen and West streets at 1707 W. Jensen Avenue in Fresno.
