The Diversities II (3-6) came out swinging this week, scoring 5 runs in the first inning to take a 5-2 lead over the Odd Balls. The Odd Balls (1-8) did its best to keep up, scoring two runs in the second inning to bring the score to 5-4. The DII’s went back to work at the plate extending its lead to 8-4 and never looked back.

The defense played a near perfect game, holding the Odd Balls to two scoreless innings. After taking on at least three runs in each of the next few innings, all the DII’s had to do was keep the Odd Balls from having a big inning. The Diversities II succeeded in holding the Odd Balls to only two runs the next inning to take the 16-6 victory.

Next game will be played Friday, December 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the Regional Sports Complex – Field 1. This will be the last game of the season. The Regional Sports Complex is located on Jensen and West streets at 1707 W. Jensen Avenue in Fresno.
