| Employees showed up to work on a Sunday morning but they weren’t here for work; they were here for play. Two charter buses filled with Agency employees and their families made the 4 hour drive on November 16 to San Francisco to watch the 49ers take on the St. Louis Rams. Fans of both teams made it a point to show their team spirit by wearing either red and gold or blue and gold team apparel.
After the long ride, eager fans were welcomed by a sea of tailgaters at Candlestick Park. The delicious scent of barbeque and game day anticipation filled the air.
One hundred fourteen Agency employees, their friends, and families, filled the majority of Section 50. During the game, fans celebrated their team’s achievements with hoots, hollers, and high-fives, and yelled words of encouragement and support.
In the end, the home team didn’t disappoint its fans; the San Francisco 49ers beat the St. Louis Rams 34 to 16.
