| _M.jpg) A steady flow of art enthusiasts made their way in and around the Sanctuary last Thursday as the Youth Shelter unveiled its recently renovated rooms during the December ArtHop.
A wall in each bedroom dons a mural by local artists including Jose Lopez, Sarah Worthen, Ryan Puckett, and Eric Gonzalez. The rooms also boast a new coat of paint, bedding, and matching accessories.
The event gave Shelter staff the chance to not only showcase the new rooms, but provided them the opportunity to make Fresnans aware of the Shelter and its services to youth in crisis.
Though not a fundraising event, the Shelter was able to raise just over $130 in donations. |
