Thumbs up to the Head Start Central Office Team!! After an Emergency Evacuation Drill that took place last summer, the Head Start Central Office Team took positive steps to prepare their employees in the agency's Emergency Evacuation Plan. The Head Start Senior Management Team met and discussed the agency's plan and how Head Start Central Office could fit into it. They put together an action plan that addressed circumstances that made it difficult for certain employees to evacuate safely; they divided up all of the responsibilities, and assigned leaders. I am pleased to say that last month the Head Start Central Office Team conducted a very successful Emergency Evacuation Drill. Tamala Olsby from Head Start said, “Now we are prepared...I feel assured we would be safe if, God forbid, anything ever REALLY happened that would cause us to evacuate quickly.
