Diversities II started the sixth game of the season strong, but found themselves down 5-0 going into the bottom of the fifth inning. The tides turned and the DII’s put together a five run rally to tie up the ball game 5-5. The New Comers, who were now on their toes, came up to bat and managed to score one run in the top of the 6th inning – taking a 6-5 lead; but the DII’s responded quickly, scoring twice and taking a 7-6 lead.

The Diversities made two outs to start the 7th inning before allowing a triple to a New Comer batter. With a New Comer runner on third base, ready to tie the game, the DII’s recorded the final out to seal the victory.

The Diversities look forward to next week’s game when the team takes on the undefeated Just Ballin. Game starts at 6:00 p.m. and will take place on Field 3.
