Last week, Fresno County Bike Coalition held its annual Bike to Work Corporate Challenge; while many participated in the one-day countywide event, we’d like to take a moment to highlight two colleagues who not only rode their bikes to work during the challenge, but have made it a habit to ride their bikes to work every day.
SOUL teachers Luis Baca and John Scow are doing their part in helping keep our Valley air clean one bike ride at a time. Asked why he commutes on his bike instead using his vehicle, Baca simply replies, “It’s a great way to use less fuel and save money. Plus,” he adds, “it’s easier than driving.”
