Our Board of Commissioners has elected a new leader. Proudly taking the gavel, Vongsavanh Mouanoutoua conducted his first meeting Wednesday evening as Board Chair.

"I am very humbled and honored by your vote of confidence,” said Board Chair Mouanoutoua. “Together, we will continue to lead this Agency to success."

Mouanoutoua is replacing former Board Chair Moses Stites who resigned late last month. He will serve as Board Chair until the annual Election of Officers in December.

New to the Board of Commissioners are Amy Arambula and James Aleru. They were appointed by 31 st Assemblyman Juan Arambula and the California Partnership for San Joaquin Valley, respectively. Both will serve their term until December 31, 2010.
