A rosary will be recited for Head Start student Alex Mercado this Sunday, November 8, at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The church is located on the corner of Quince and Fifth streets in Mendota.

His funeral service will be held Monday, November 9, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Kerman on the corner of Del Norte Avenue and Kearney Boulevard. Immediately following the funeral service will be a procession to Fresno Memorial Gardens at the corner of Cornelia and Whitesbridge avenues.

The family has set up a memorial fund to help cover funeral expenses. If you would like to contribute, please fill out the attached payroll deduction form and turn it in to Human Resources by Thursday, November 19.

Alex’s mother is a Head Start County-Wide Policy Council Executive Committee member.

A final check, on behalf of our Agency’s employees, will be delivered to Alex’s family.
