|  Rain and chilly weather didn’t keep Adolescent Family Life Program participants and their families from celebrating the holiday season! The program held its annual Christmas celebration and toy drive near Santa’s Village inside Manchester Mall.
All in all, 130 people from all over Fresno County – including Mendota, Riverdale, and Orange Cove – participated in the festive event. Children, some even as young as one month, took a picture with Santa and received a gift from Toys for Tots; toys ranged from Barbie dolls, remote control cars, hand-held games, soccer balls and so much more! Christmas was extra special for about 30 needy children whose parents are not AFLP participants; they were also gifted with a toy from Toys for Tots. |
