During last month’s Board Commissioner meeting, the Board took action on the following items:

• Executive Search Firm: Our Board of Commissioners approved the retention of an executive search firm to conduct a national search for our next executive director. The firm, Waldron & Company, is researching our Agency and obtaining as much information as possible about EOC in order to find the best possible candidates.

• Earned Income Tax Credit : Our Agency, in partnership with Central California Legal Services (CCLS), is providing income tax services to the residents of Firebaugh, Mendota, Huron, and San Joaquin. In addition to providing assistance in obtaining this federal income tax credit to low- and moderate income working individuals and families, we will also host resource fairs that connect these individuals to other benefits/resources such as no- to low-cost health services, employment and training services, etc.
