| Last month, Sanctuary and Youth Services Advisory Board and staff members took a moment to reflect on their work and its impact in our community during a reflection workshop facilitated by Dr. Jackie Ryle.
The group shared their thoughts on the services their programs offer youth and young adults in Fresno County and discussed ways to strengthen each program including the three new programs now under Sanctuary and Youth Services (Adolescent Family Life Program (AFLP), Family Leadership Institute (FLI), Rural Youth Prevention Project (RYPP), and Juvenile Justice Center Substance Abuse Prevention Program). Also discussed was the role of the Advisory Board and how staff can better utilize them as a resource and support network.
Feeling a renewed sense energy, participants left the workshop eager to continue their work in helping at-risk youth and young adults succeed.
