| It was a day of games, entertainment, face painting, fun and prizes at the 45 th Anniversary Resource Fair last Friday. In celebration of our 45 th birthday, the community and our employees enjoyed a few hours of fun while learning about the different programs our agency has to offer.
Two of our own CDFI employees provided great entertainment. Smile Yang kicked off the festivities by singing the National Anthem, and Jeremy Hofer played an acoustic set with his partner Dayanna Sevilla. Later, Joshua, a student from Cooper Middle School performed traditional Native American dances.
Each program provided information, giveaways, and some even had fun games and prizes to showcase their services to the community. Transit and Food Services had a prize wheel, Weatherization challenged the community with their game “Snack or Pack”, and School Age Child Care had face painting for the kids.
The Resource Fair was a great way, not only for the community, but for employees to learn more about the agency as a whole. We’ve been helping the disenfranchised in more ways than one for 45 years now, and we plan on continuing to do so for years to come.
Thank you to everyone who made our 45 th Anniversary Resource Fair a success!
