The fall weather made for an enjoyable evening at Arte Américas as staff, local leaders, and the community came out to welcome our Executive Director Brian Angus to the Central Valley. The Arte Américas Plaza was the perfect venue for Mr. Angus to shake hands and meet members of the community.

A small program began with a few words from Board Member Chair Vong Mouanoutoua and Board Commissioner Reverend Paul McCoy. During a message to the attendees, Mr. Angus explained how much Community Action has impacted his life and how his goal in the upcoming months is to figure out the needs of Fresno County by meeting with the leaders within our community.

A Special Message from Your Executive Director

The last couple of weeks being here have been phenomenal. It has been the warmest of welcomes by all. I am honored by the opportunity to lead EOC.

To the agency and all communities we affect, my promise is to commit all my energy to furthering the EOC mission of “Helping People and Changing Lives”.

I thank everyone who attended Arte Américas. I am excited to be part of the Fresno community and hope to join with many of you to advance the quality of life and make Fresno County a better place to be.
