Earlier this month, our School of Unlimited Learning held a special luncheon for the 20 students who successfully completed SOUL’s Career Education course.
SOUL Career Counselor Sam Hairston and Career Education Teacher Julie Moreno highlighted the achievements of the students including their successful work experience activities, many of which occurred within Agency programs. Two students who had been placed at Chukchansi Park were offered summer employment as a result of their successful work experience performance.
Dr. Mark Wilson, SOUL’s Principal, extended a special thank you to Linda Davidson and Glenn Elizarde from our Human Resources Office for the strong support and resources they provided to Careers Education students.
Thanks to a grant from Kaiser, Inc., students were awarded with stipends of up to $150.00 each for their successful work experience activities.
Congratulations to SOUL’s Careers Class and all 60 SOUL 2011 graduates! |
