We will soon start the Agency’s strategic planning process. Strategic planning determines where an organization is going over the next few years and how it's going to get there. Over the next 7 months or so, we will be gathering information both internally and externally to develop that plan.

We will be using several methods to gather the information we need:

• Focus groups: small, informal groups to discuss issues in the community
• Stakeholder Interviews: working with our board of commissioners to reach out to community and business leaders for their perspective of EOC and the work we do
• Surveys: used to gather data on specific issues from clients, partners and the community
• Alignment Symposiums: coordinating major players in the fields of health, economy and family to discuss how we all serve the community

We are creating committees to work on each of these tasks and we would like representation from all parts of the Agency. The time commitment will vary, but you can expect two meetings per month as we get things started.
