Name of program: Weatherization
What is the program’s goal? The Weatherization
program assists low-income families reduce their utility bills
by efficiently and effectively installing non-infiltration
measures, insulation, energy efficient appliances, and other
energy conservation devices. All weatherization measures are
installed using strict technical guidelines and safety protocols.
Clients also receive education on how to conserve energy and
lower their utility bills.
When was the program established at EOC?
1974
Who do you help (client base)? We help qualified
low-income families who reside in a qualified dwelling. Both
the family/individual and the dwelling must qualify.
What are the eligibility requirements? A
participant’s income cannot exceed 6% of State Median
Income guidelines; the dwelling must be inspected and qualified.
How many clients do you serve monthly/annually?

weatherization activities are subcontracted.
Where is your office / are your offices located?
Clients do not come to an office for services.
All client contact and intake occurs at the client’s
