Tell us about one of your “success stories.” Throughout Tracy Pierce’s AmeriCorps service she provided positive educational outreach to the community on behalf of the Fresno Police Department’s Southwest Policing District. At in-service trainings and national service days, Tracy personified “Espirit de Corps”, always embracing every opportunity to learn and give back to her community. Even though she completed her community service, Tracy is still making a difference in Fresno. She is currently employed by EOC’s Local Conservation Corps as a Crew Supervisor in the Recycling Division. Everyday she mentors young men and women, teaching them on-the-job training and life skills while helping to conserve out natural resources. Tracy continues to make her community a safer, prouder place to live and work. Tracy was recently nominated by FSPN for the Corporation for National and Community Service- National Spirit of Service award.

Anything else you’d like to tell us about your program? Applications are accepted throughout the year.
