What is the program’s goal? Provide quality secondary educational opportunities to at-risk students in an effort to help them achieve their academic goals, graduate from high school, and continue on to post-secondary educational opportunities
When was the program established at EOC? 1998
Who do you help (client base)? At risk students, grades 9 through 12, primarily ages 14 through 22.
What are the eligibility requirements? Any student ages 14-22 who desires an alternative educational opportunity.
How many clients do you serve monthly/annually? Average 300 students per month, over 550 students annually.

Where is your office / are your offices located? Sanctuary (2336 Calaveras), Local Conservation Corps (1371 Stainislaus in Fresno), and Asian Village ( Kings Canyon and Winery)
Tell us about one of your “success stories”. During this past year, SOUL achieved the highest API growth of all high schools in Fresno (52 points). SOUL’s charter renewal was approved by Fresno unified for an additional five year, and SOUL just successfully completed the accreditation process.
A record number of students passed the High School Exit Exam.
