Tell us about one of your “success stories.” Susanna is a 20-year-old single parent with a young son. She came to the Workforce Connection with very little work history or training and eager to start a career. The program was able to help Susanna determine a career area that matched her interest and aptitude. As a result, the program sponsored and enrolled Susanna into a local Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program paying for the books, uniforms, and equipment required for successful completion. After successfully graduating from the training course, Susanna took and passed her CNA State License examination and, with the additional assistance of Workforce Connection, she immediately gained employment at the Clovis Convalescent Hospital. Susanna is now self-sufficient and working in the career of her choice.
