Health Services Clinic |
| |
|
| Description |
Since, 1971, the Fresno County EOC Health
Services Clinic continues to provide services to men,
women, and teens of reproductive age and at risk for unintended
pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. Through
the Family PACT Program, Medi-Cal, and private pay, the
clinic is able to provide comprehensive reproductive health
care. (The Family PACT Program provides no-cost family
planning services to low-income men and women, including
teens.) Currently, the clinic has expanded its services
to include prenatal care (care to pregnant women) through
the Comprehensive Prenatal Services Program (CPSP). Expansion
of these services came about through grant funding from
the state Cedillo-Alarcon Community Clinic Investment
Act. The clinic was awarded close to $100,000 for clinic
renovation, office equipment, medical equipment, computer
and phone systems. |
