Program School Age Child Care
   
Description The School Age Child Care/General Child Care Program is designed to provide care before school, after school, and during holidays and vacations, when parents are in school, in training, or must work.
   
Hours 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Site(s) - Locations Centers are located at the following schools: Cesar Chavez, Eric White, Orange Cove, Bethune, Ericson, Kerman-Floyd, Lane, McCardle, and Wishon
   
Services Provide experiences for children which will influence their total development while providing care before school, after school, and during holidays and vacations.
   
Service Area Fresno County at the sites noted above.
   
Eligibility Criteria All applicable enrollment forms and income verification must be completed and provided before a child will be allowed to attend the center. Children between the ages of 5-12 are accepted. Children must meet the State Department of Education eligibility/placement priority guidelines.

Mission Provide an environment, which will foster the social-emotional, physical, cognitive, language, and creative development of the child.
   
Goals To implement a program which will provide for the child’s physical, social, and emotional needs. Program goals will promote/provide; a safe environment, health and good nutrition practices, physical growth and development, independence, self-confidence, good study skills and habits, social interactive skills, opportunity to pursue self-expression in visual and performing arts.
